Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of AskSNP ("the service"). By uploading a file or sending a prompt, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

AskSNP lets you upload Touchstone S-parameter files and use natural-language prompts to generate plots and interpretation. Prompts and file-derived context are processed by OpenAI, a third-party AI service provider, as described in our Privacy Notice.

No warranty; verify your results

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Plots, calculations, and AI-generated interpretations may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on the service as the sole basis for any engineering, design, or business decision — always independently verify results against your source data and trusted tools.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload data you are not authorized to share, or that is confidential, personal, or subject to export controls or similar restrictions.
• Upload malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, or access the service through automated scraping, scripting, or bulk requests beyond normal interactive use.
• Probe, scan, overload, or otherwise attempt to disrupt or compromise the service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer the service except to the extent permitted by law.

Your content

You retain all rights to the files and prompts you submit. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the service — including sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers listed in our Privacy Notice.

Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend, rate-limit, or discontinue the service (or any part of it), and may remove files or sessions, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that data will be preserved — files are automatically deleted (see the Privacy Notice), so keep your own copies.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which for the free service is zero.

Intellectual property

The service, including its software and design, is owned by us and protected by applicable law. Except for your own content, no rights are granted to you other than the limited right to use the service under these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
